Radio Flyer Scoot ’n Zoom toy recalled

Health Canada has issued a recall for the Scoot ’n Zoom riding toy manufactured by Radio Flyer over fears it may tip over and injure young children.
The affected toy, called the Scoot ’n Zoom, is a moulded, red plastic rider with black wheels and model number 711 printed on the underside.
Health Canada said the toy can tip over, allowing a child to fall forward and hurt themselves.
Currently, Radio Flyer of Chicago has received 10 incident reports with six injuries from customers in the United States. There have been no reports of incidents or injuries from Canadian customers. In Canada, 177 toys were purchased.
The affected toy was sold at Mastermind Toys from August 2010 to August 2011.
Customers who have purchased the toy can contact either Mastermind Toys, or Radio Flyer for a replacement or a refund.
