Robford.ca redirects to Toronto Star & Wikipedia websites

Someone is having a bit of fun with Robford.ca

Earlier Tuesday, visitors to the site were greeted by a plain white screen with the words: “Rob, we’re sorry!!” It then redirected to The Toronto Star’s website.

The mayor’s office told CityNews the site is no longer affiliated with Ford in any way.

Ford is in the midst of an ongoing feud with The Star, refusing to speak to its reporters after they ran a story critical of his conduct as a youth football coach.

The Star quickly absolved themselves of any connection to the website, posting a story online stressing they are in no way “affiliated with RobFord.ca.”

Later, the site began redirecting to a Wikipedia page for Rob Ford — the outlaw gunslinger who infamously shot and killed Jesse James.

According to whois.net, which tracks domain name ownership, Robford.ca was registered by domain provider Fresh Grape Solutions Inc.in November, 2011.
