Network issue causing delays for Air Canada passengers

Many Air Canada passengers were feeling frustrated Monday night, as a computer problem led to flight delays.
“We’re currently experiencing issues with our Network System. Our technical team is working hard to fix the outage,” the airline tweeted shortly before midnight Monday.
There’s no word on the nature of the issue, or how many flights have been affected.
Many passengers took to Twitter with their experiences.
“Our pilot just told us their entire North American system is down. Ministry of Transport has authorized pilots to ‘go manual,’ wrote @IvanGiesbrecht.
“System still down…waiting….waiting…,” tweeted @robsarj.
A request for comment from the airline wasn’t immediately answered.
