Pythons recovered after Brampton blaze

A half-dozen pythons were recovered after flames broke out at a townhouse in Brampton Tuesday.
Emergency crews were called to the scene on Bramalea Road at Queen Street East around 1:30 p.m.
Fire officials tell CityNews Animal Control officers removed the pythons from the home and placed them in the Brampton Animal Shelter. Reports say there were a variety of other animals removed from the home.
Brampton Transit brought in a bus to house displaced residents.
Officials say the blaze broke out in the bathroom, but an investigation is underway.
