Those trying to lower their blood pressure may want to consider swapping their coffee for some black tea.
Researchers at the University of Western Australia told one group of study participants to drink three cups of black tea a day for six months, while another group was given a placebo drink.
They found that those who drank the tea experienced a significant reduction in blood pressure.
The study authors say it is because black tea is rich in flavonoids.
