Feist, Drake & Nickelback nominated for Juno Awards

Feist has the most 2012 Juno Awards nominations this year.

The singer-songwriter received five nods, including one for Artist of the Year and another for Songwriter of the Year.

Drake, Nickelback and Hedley followed with four nominations each.

Avril Lavigne, Michael Buble, City and Colour and Deadmau5 each received three nods.

The awards were announced by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences on Tuesday in Toronto. The 2012 awards ceremony will be hosted by actor William Shatner on April 1 in Ottawa.

Avril Lavigne’s Goodbye Lullabye, Drake’s Take Care, Justin Bieber’s Under the Mistletoe, Buble’s Christmas and Nickelback’s Here and Now were nominated for Album of the Year.

Nickelback, City and Colour, the Sheepdogs and Hedley were among those nominated for Single of the Year.

Ten artists were nominated for the Juno Fan Choice Award, including Arcade Fire, Drake and Bieber.
