How many locations can I save?
You can save up to four separate locations.
How do I add a new location?
Click the ‘Search’ tab and enter the address or postal code. The location will show up on the map. To fine-tune the location, drag the red location indicator. You can use the zoom controls in the upper left corner of the map to zoom down to street-level. Pan the map by clicking and dragging the map with your mouse cursor. Click ‘Save’ and enter a nickname for the location when prompted. Your location will now appear in the dropdown menu to the left of the tabs.
How do I delete a location?
To delete a location, click the red ‘X’ next to the location name in your drop-down menu.
I just tried to add a new location, but the ‘Save’ button is grayed out. Why can’t I save?
You can save up to four separate locations besides the station default. If you already have four saved locations, you need to delete one before you can save another. To delete a location, click the red ‘X’ next to the location name in your drop-down menu.
Where can I find out the wind speed and direction?
The wind speed and direction appears in the popup when you click on any point of the Hourly Graph. You can also see a graph of the hourly wind speed and direction by clicking the dropdown on the lower part of the graph and selecting Winds.
What do the wind direction arrows mean in the hourly forecast?
The wind direction arrows represented the forecasted direction the wind will be coming from. For example, if you are facing West and the wind is blowing toward you, the wind is coming out of the West and blowing to the East.
• Wind from the West, blowing towards the East
• Wind from the Northwest, blowing towards the Southeast
• Wind from the North, blowing towards the South
• Wind from the Northeast, blowing towards the Southwest
• Wind from the East, blowing towards the West
• Wind from the Southeast, blowing towards the Northwest
• Wind from the South, blowing towards the North
• Wind from the Southwest, blowing towards the Northeast
