Toronto man facing over 60 charges after commercial break-ins

A Toronto man is facing over 60 charges after a four-month investigation into a slew of commercial break-ins in Etobicoke.

Police say the accused broke into 31 commercial buildings between Oct, 2011 and February, 2012.

David Roberts, 45,  has been charged with:

  • 31 counts of Break and Enter
  • 25 counts of Failing to Comply with a Probation Order
  • 2 counts of Robbery
  • Theft Under $5000
  • Mischief Under $5000
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
  • Possession of Burglar Tools

Roberts made a brief court appearance on Tuesday.
