East end streets reopen after watermain break

Streets in the Birch Cliff neighbourhood have reopened after they were shut down due to flooding.

Shortly after 7 a.m. Thursday, a watermain ruptured near Clonmore Drive and Gerrard Street East.

Gerrard was closed from Clonmore to Blantyre Avenue, and Gerrard buses were diverting.

By 4:45 p.m., one lane in each direction was open on Gerrard Street.
