A realtor has listed a ramshackle detached garage in the city’s west end for almost $100,000.
Nick Kourakos of HomeLife CholKan Realty Corp. is asking $99,999 for the structure behind 81 Lynd Ave., near Dundas Street West and Howard Park Avenue in Roncesvalles Village.
“Own a piece of the pie,” the MLS listing reads. “Detached garage needs work. Great for extra parking or storage. Property being sold in ‘as-is and where-is condition.’”
Kourakos — who has so far received one offer of $50,000 — bought the garage three years ago as an investment and paid $12,000, according to a report in the Toronto Star. It has a title separate from the house behind it and sits on a plot measuring 16 by 12 feet — or 192 square feet.
Property tax is reportedly $153 a year.
