2 dead in two-vehicle crash in Hamilton

Two people have died in a two-vehicle crash on Red Hill Valley Parkway in Hamilton, fire officials say.

The accident occurred about 10:15 a.m. Tuesday on the southbound parkway near Barton Street East.

The victims were in one car. There’s was no immediate word on the injuries of the others in the second vehicle.

The southbound lanes of Red Hill Valley Parkway will be closed from the QEW to Queenston Road until at least 4 p.m., Hamilton police said.
