Man killed in Pickering rollover

A 64-year-old Pickering man is dead after a rollover late Saturday night.

A passerby called police around 11:30 p.m. after spotting the crashed car off Whites Road, near Third Concession.

Officers say the victim was driving south on Whites when his car veered off the road, rolled over several times and he was thrown from the vehicle.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police believe he had not been wearing his seatbelt and are trying to figure out if he was speeding or drinking before he crashed.

They have not released his name.
