Weather Network releases spring outlook; predicts milder than usual temperatures

TORONTO, Ont. – Daylight Saving Time returned Sunday, which is always a sure sign that spring is around the corner.
The Weather Network is out with their spring outlook, and they say to expect milder than usual temperatures and average precipitation this year.
So despite the fact that temperatures Sunday are forecast to hit 10 C, meteorologist Gina Ressler says it won’t be as warm as last spring.
“Looking forward to the next few months, March, April and May, it does look like we’ll end up being a little milder than normal across Southern Ontario,” Ressler said.
In terms of precipitation it will be near normal, and we shouldn’t rule out the chance of some more snowfall in the coming weeks.
“In terms of snowfall March sometimes does hold a few wintry surprised, so I wouldn’t rule out the possibility of a little more snowfall in the coming weeks,” Ressler said.
Spring officially arrives on March 20.
