Man shot in High Park area

A 35-year-old man is in hospital in serious condition after a shooting in the High Park area.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday on the 18th floor of a high rise apartment building at 299 Glenlake Ave., in the Bloor and Keele streets area.

Paramedics confirmed to CityNews the victim was shot in the back. He was transported to hospital in serious condition.

Police say a man was arrested shortly after the shooting. Investigators are looking for three other suspects.

There has been no word on charges.

Police would not say if the suspect and the victim knew each other.
