It’s not always about topping the charts, and the Canadian band Simple Plan is proof of that. The band was honoured with the Allan Slaight Humanitarian Spirit Award at the Canadian Music and Broadcast Industry Awards, March 21, 2013. 680News music reporter Rudy Blair spoke with band member Chuck Comeau about why it’s important to the band to give back.
