Actor John C. McGinley (“Scrubs” and “Office Space”) plays legendary baseball broadcaster “Red Barber” in the new movie “42” — the life story of Jackie Robinson and his history-making signing with the Brooklyn Dodgers.
McGinley spoke with showbiz editor Gloria Martin about the importance of telling Robinson’s story today and how Red Barber played a critical part in changing Baseball history.
