It was a deathbed promise a young boy made to his mother – one he couldn’t be sure he would be able to keep.
Aaron O’Neill, 18, told his mother he would beat this, as he was wheeled into an operating room after waiting months for a donor heart large enough for his seven-foot-tall frame.
