Fire damages CIBC branch building in Burlington

BURLINGTON, Ont. – Damage is estimated at $1.2-million after a fire at a CIBC branch in Burlington, Ont., Friday.
The fire broke on the second floor of the bank, located at Fairview Street, at around 1 a.m.
No injuries have been reported.
The Fire Marshal’s office has been called in because the loss is greater than $500,000.
It’s not yet known what caused the fire, but it’s not believed to be suspicious, officials said.
Fire crews were on the scene for over six hours.
