Man arrested after assault near York U campus

Police have arrested a 22-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting a woman near the York University campus.
It happened sometime after 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Officers say Jayson Chatah struck up a conversation with a 21-year-old woman near Sentinel Road and Murray Ross Parkway and walked her to a townhouse.
It’s alleged he followed her into the unit and sexually assaulted her.
Chatah was due in an Old City Hall court for a bail hearing on Sunday.
