An 11-year-old boy was rushed to hospital after being struck by a car in Regent Park but was lucky to have suffered only minor injuries, traffic services says.
Emergency crews were called to the Dundas and Sackville streets area, just east of Parliament Street, Monday evening.
Police say the driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
It is not yet certain if charges will be laid.
The intersection was closed off while police investigated but has since reopened to traffic.
