Ford Motor set to name new CEO: report

Ford Motor Co. is reportedly set to name Mark Fields its new CEO.

Bloomberg is reporting that people familiar with the announcement say the current chief executive Alan Mulally will retire from the company.

The appointment may be made official as soon as May 1.

Fields is currently Ford’s chief operating officer.
