2 injured in wrong-way crash on Gardiner Expressway

Police are investigating after a woman drove the wrong way on the Gardiner Expressway and crashed head-on with another vehicle early Saturday morning.

It happened around 3 a.m. Saturday in the eastbound lanes, east of Hwy. 427.

The driver — a woman in her mid-20s — and a man were injured, but will recover.

Police believe alcohol may have been a factor and said charges are pending.
