Taste of the Danforth: Toronto’s largest street festival takes over the Danforth with Greek food, music, and fun. In its 21st year, organizers expect to see 1.5 million flock to the east end to take part in the festivities. Danforth Avenue, Broadview to Jones. Friday-Sunday. Free. tasteofthedanforth.com

Immigration Stories: Making a Home in Old Toronto This historical walking tour hosted by Heritage Toronto takes participants through the neighbourhood around Old City Hall, once a settlement area for the country’s newcomers.
