Ryan Reynolds demands return of Beachcombers after hit and run in Vancouver

Ryan Reynolds is laughing off a hit and run incident in a truly Canadian manner.
Vancouver police have confirmed that actor Reynolds was the victim of a hit and run in the parking lot of a downtown hotel.
Const. Brian Montague said in an email that the Vancouver-born Hollywood star was not injured in Friday’s collision.
Montague had no further details about the incident.
When contacted over Twitter by a CBC reporter about his condition, Reynolds joked that he would only give a comment to the broadcaster if they agreed to put Beachombers back on the air.
The CBC drama, set in Vancouver, ran from 1972 to 1990.
The Vancouver-born Reynolds has been in the city over the past several weeks shooting his new film, Deadpool.
Reynolds has played everything from a superhero in Green Lantern to a romantic lead in The Proposal and a CIA agent in Safe House.
