Commuters in Brampton will be paying a little bit more as of Monday, but not if they use cash.
Brampton Transit said the fare hike affects adults and seniors who use the Presto system. It will also cost more for GO Transit fare integration.
For adults, the cost per ride of using Presto is going up by 10 cents, to $2.90 from $2.80.
A weekly pass is going up by $1 to $32, and a monthly pass is going up by $2 to $120.
GO fare integration will cost five cents more, up to 80 cents.
