You may not have had breakfast yet but there is a new ice cream cone in Toronto that could suppress, or stimulate, your appetite.
Chimney cakes, doughnuts used as an ice cream cone, are freshly baked pastries made in a cylindrical shape with Reid’s Dairy vanilla soft serve ice cream added inside.
“They have a satisfying crunch on the outside and delicious, light and fluffy dough on the inside,” says the company’s website.
Nutella, berry compote, apple preserves and butter toffee bits can also be added to the cone.
The company says that the dough is made with 7 ingredients but doesn’t divulge how many calories they contain.
Each cone includes organic cane sugar, cinnamon sugar, shredded coconut, olive oil and salted lemon pepper and aged cheddar.
The ice cream cones range from $8 to $10 and are being served at various locations across the city and GTA.
Next stop for the Chimneys food truck is at Dynamic Funds Tower in Toronto.
