Toronto police are searching for a suspect who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman on a TTC train last week.

The alleged assault happened on the Yonge subway line around 4:40 p.m. on Friday.

Police say a 23-year-old woman, who was heading southbound, was standing inside the train when a man approached her from behind and sexually assaulted her.

The man, who stayed on the train after the alleged assault, was last seen leaving the train at King Station.

On Monday, police released a security camera image of the suspect.

He is white, in his mid-40s, five-feet 10-inches tall and 200 pounds with dark short hair, blue eyes and clean shaven at the time. He was wearing a black baseball hat, blue dress shirt and black dress pants.

Police are concerned there may be other victims.
