Man killed after small plane crashes in Sarnia cornfield

Police are investigating after a man was killed when a small two-seater aircraft went down in a cornfield in Sarnia, Ont.

Police say it happened shortly before noon Saturday, north of the 2300 block of London Line.

Investigators haven’t released the name of the deceased, but say he was in his 50s.

They say the man was the only person in the plane.

The Transportation Safety Board is looking into what caused the crash.
