Service Ontario issues ‘resolved,’ agency says

By News Staff and The Canadian Press

Service Ontario says the issues plaguing their servers have been resolved.

The agency thanked users for their patience on Thursday morning, after a technical glitch caused problems for those using driver and vehicle services.

The problem began Wednesday morning and affected the network linked with the Ministry of Transportation.

Most of the services affected at Service Ontario offices can be completed online at serviceontario.ca, except for picking up licence plates and getting a new photo for your driver’s licence. Written and practical drivers’ licence tests went ahead as scheduled.

It’s not yet known what caused the glitch.
