Man rushed to hospital after bullet-riddled car crashes near Lawrence and Bayview

One man is in hospital after he was shot near Lawrence and Bayview avenues early on Wednesday morning.
The victim was shot in the leg, paramedics told CityNews. His injuries are serious but not life-threatening.
A bullet-riddled car crashed on Lawrence around 2:15 a.m. The victim and two other people were then taken to hospital. The two other people had minor injuries.
Paramedics believe they were on the way to the hospital at the time of the crash. It’s not known exactly where the man was shot.
Toronto police are investigating.
