Toronto police are investigating after a man walked into a hospital in the city’s east end with a gunshot wound.
Around 3 a.m. on Tuesday, police were called to a home on Winlock Park, near Finch Avenue East and Bayview Avenue, in North York, for the sounds of gunshots.
When police arrived, they found empty casings, bullet holes and blood stains at the scene, but there was no victim.
The man who was shot eventually walked into a hospital in Scarborough around 6 a.m. The extent of his injuries is not yet known, but the victim has since been transferred to a trauma centre.
