Hamilton house listing looks like something out of a horror movie

By Geoff Rohoman

It’s tough for families, starting out, to afford to buy a house — but a recent listing in Hamilton is raising some eyebrows for both the price and pictures of the home.

The 2,400-square-foot, detached home is a corner lot with eight bedrooms, 2.5 baths, nine-foot ceilings and a century brick exterior. Plus it’s close to the GO station.

The price tag — $450,000.

And while, on paper, this may sound like a dream come true, the pictures show a home that looks more like something out of a nightmare.

Filthy, chipped paint in every room, broken doors, a dilapidated bathroom, two kitchens that are literally cupboards and a sink — no stove, fridge or dishwasher.

A lime green bedroom looks like there was a fire inside.

It essentially looks like a home you would see on one of those house flipping shows.

One realtor said “it needs to be gutted” but interest is there.
