Car crashes into store in Scarborough

Toronto police are investigating after a woman drove a vehicle into the store window of a Shoppers Drug Mart in Scarborough on Monday afternoon.
Police responded to a call for a collision in the Kennedy Road and Lawrence Avenue area around 1 p.m.
Police say injuries were reported but they appear to be minor and paramedics treated the driver for shock.
The store window was heavily damaged and city inspectors have been called in to check the building.
It is unclear what caused the crash at this time.
