Man wanted for attempted murder in New Year’s Day shooting

A warrant has been issued for a man wanted in connection with a shooting on New Year’s Day in Oakwood Village.
Toronto police say they were called to reports of a shooting at an after-hours club in the area of Oakwood Avenue and Vaughan Road just after 5 a.m.
A man was found suffering from a gunshot wound and was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Leo Soloman Martin, 28, of Toronto is facing several charges including attempted murder and discharging a firearm with intent to wound or endanger life.
He is considered violent, armed and dangerous.
Police also say they are aware that a number of people witnessed the shooting and urge them to speak with investigators.
