$18K in merchandise stolen in Yonge-Eglinton break and enter

Police have identified one person wanted in connection with a break and enter near Yonge and Eglinton just after Christmas.

On Dec. 28, officers were called to a business in the area around 3:30 a.m.

Two men allegedly broke into the business and stole about $18,000 worth of merchandise.

The suspects then fled from police.

Police said Michael Gibson, 32, from Toronto, is wanted for break and enter, theft exceeding $5,000, mischief to property and possess property obtained by crime.

Gibson is described as five feet nine inches tall, about 220 pounds, with brown eyes and receding black hair.

The second suspect is described as having a white complexion, a large build, a chin-strap beard/goatee and dark hair. He was wearing a black winter jacket and baseball hat.
