One person has been rushed to a trauma centre after a crash on Highway 27 involving an SUV and two TTC buses.
It happened just after 5:30 a.m. at Humber College Boulevard, near Finch Avenue.
Police said they received reports that a vehicle had crossed the centre line into the path of an oncoming bus.
It appears the vehicle then hit a second bus.
Paramedics said the victim, the driver of the car, suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Police later said the injuries were minor.
There has been no word if anyone on the bus was injured.
Police believe a medical issue was the main factor in the cause of the crash.
Highway 27 has been closed northbound from Queen’s Plate to Humber College. One southbound lane remains open.
