York regional police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for a 28-year-old man wanted in the kidnapping of Wanzhen Lu in Markham.

Muzamil Addow of Toronto is wanted for kidnapping, forcible confinement, assault with a weapon, assault and three counts of breaching a court order. Police say he is considered armed and dangerous.

Two of four suspects have been arrested so far.

Early Tuesday morning, Abdullahi Adan, 37, of Toronto, turned himself in to police and is facing several charges, including kidnapping and forcible confinement.

Later Tuesday, 33-year-old Hashim Abdullahi was arrested at a residence in Brampton while officers were executing a search warrant.

He’s been charged with kidnapping, forcible confinement, assault with a weapon and assault.

Police are also still seeking a fourth man.

“York Regional Police will continue to dedicate significant resources to find the additional suspects, as they are still at large and are considered armed and dangerous,” the force said in a statement. “We strongly recommend that the suspects involved in this kidnapping seek legal counsel and turn themselves in.”

Police say Lu was taken from his condo building’s parking garage last Saturday night by three men armed with tasers. A fourth man stayed in the getaway vehicle. He was found on Tuesday by a homeowner in Gravenhurst with minor injuries.

Lu has since returned to Markham and been reunited with his family who flew to Canada from China.

Police have since said a ransom demand was made in the case, but didn’t say who it was made to, or if it was paid.
