Man seriously injured in hit-and-run crash in Brampton

A driver is in hospital this morning with serious injuries and another is in police custody after a two-vehicle crash in Brampton.

Peel police were called to Steeles Avenue and Winston Churchill Boulevard just before 2 a.m. on Saturday

One man was take to a trauma centre with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the other driver did not remain on the scene, but they were found later in the morning and were arrested.

The circumstances of what led to the collision is still under investigation.

The entire intersection was closed, but has since reopened.
