Police issue 3 Canada-wide arrest warrants in fatal Etobicoke shooting

Toronto police have issued three Canada-wide arrest warrants in connection to the shooting death of Blain Grindley.
Grindley, 26, was found suffering from gunshot wounds inside a townhouse complex on John Garland Boulevard, near Martin Grove and Finch Avenue on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 1.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The following are being sought for first-degree murder:
- Michael Smith (pictured below), 29, of Brampton. Smith is described as five foot four, 170 pounds with black hair in braids.
- Andrae Douse, (pictured below) 21, of Mississauga. He’s described as five foot five, 165 pounds.
- Dayne Sitladeen (pictured below), 27, of Mississauga. He’s described as five foot eight, 146 pounds.
Police say all three men are to be considered armed and dangerous.
Det. Steve Henkel said police were able to identify the suspects through video evidence and witness interviews.
“We’ve had support from the community in that area,” he said, adding that it’s not year clear if Grindley was shot inside the apartment.
He wouldn’t comment when asked if the shooting was gang-related, or if the suspects were known to police.
