Teenage boy dead after shooting near Jane and Hwy. 401

A 16-year-old boy is dead after being shot multiple times in a community housing building in North York.
Emergency crews were called to 30 Falstaff Avenue, near Jane Street and Highway 401, around 1:00 a.m. Thursday.
Police said the teen had been shot multiple times in the stairwell, between the 12th and 14th floors (there is no 13th floor).
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as Hanad Ali of Toronto.
Police said three suspects were seen fleeing in a dark Honda.
The Toronto police’s homicide unit is investigating.
