A man is in the hospital with a gunshot wound after a bullet-riddled luxury SUV was found in a North York neighbourhood by police Sunday afternoon.
Police said they were initially called at around 2:30 p.m. because of a report of sounds gunshots in the Yonge Street and Florence Avenue area.
After a brief search, police said they found a Range Rover SUV with bullet holes on Florence Avenue.
At around 4 p.m. police reported a man had walked into a local hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. They believe it is connected to the incident on Florence Avenue.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
