Male dead after 2-vehicle crash in Pickering

A male driver is dead after a head-on crash in Pickering.

Durham police were called to Taunton Road west of Brock Road around 8:15 a.m. Thursday.

Police said a car and a large truck were involved in the crash.

The other driver also was also hurt but the extent of the injuries is not yet known.
