North York restaurants reporting issues with UberEats app

By News staff

North York restaurants are reporting issues with their UberEats apps, saying there have been no drivers available in the area for several hours

On the UberEats website, the majority of restaurants in North York were marked as unavailable.

Uber Support tells 680News an issue with Google Maps is causing the app to crash and they are working to find a solution as soon as possible.

Some social media users also reported a lack of restaurants available in downtown Toronto as well.

Restaurants across the city are relying on food delivery apps like UberEats for business due to COVID-19 restrictions only allowing them to provide take-out and delivery.
