Police searching for victim of shooting in North York

Toronto police are looking for the victim of a shooting in the North York area on Wednesday night.

Officers responded to reports of the sound of gunshots in the Wynford Drive and Wynford Heights Crescent area around 9:45 p.m.

Police say there were reports of two people shooting at each other and one of them was struck. Both people then got into separate cars and fled the scene.

Officers found shell casings and a car with bullet holes in the area.

The emergency task force was reportedly on scene as well and a remote robot was brought in.

An investigation is ongoing.
