Body found off Lake Ontario shore in Mimico, death not considered suspicious

Toronto police say a body being found in Lake Ontario near Summerhill Road and Norris Crescent in Mimico.

The deceased person was discovered about 100 metres off shore and has been taken out of the water.

Police say the death is not being considered suspicious at this time.

Witnesses tell 680 NEWS they spotted the body while paddling in the water just after 12:30 p.m.
