SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) _ OFG Bancorp (OFG) on Wednesday reported second-quarter earnings of $40.8 million.
The San Juan, Puerto Rico-based bank said it had earnings of 78 cents per share.
The financial holding company posted revenue of $145.7 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $134.4 million, which topped Street forecasts.
OFG shares have increased 11% since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 59% in the last 12 months.
