GO train service is expanding west.

Trips are set to begin on Oct. 18 between London and Toronto, as part of a new pilot project.

“The people of Southwestern Ontario deserve better access to a safe and reliable transportation network,” Ontario Transportation Minister Caroline Mulroney said in release.

During the week, one train will leave London early in the morning with a return trip from Union Station in the evening.

The train service will also include stops in St. Marys and Stratford.

The trip between London and Union Station will take approximately four hours, each way.
