2 women injured following early morning shooting in Woodbridge
York Regional Police are investigating after an early morning shooting sent two women to hospital on Monday.
Police said they were called to the Langstaff and Weston Roads area around 3:30 a.m. When they arrived, officers located several shell casings and a vehicle with a bullet hole. A second scene was later found at a nearby plaza.
Two female victims were eventually located in hospital suffering from gunshot wounds. Their condition is not considered life threatening.

There is no word on suspects at this time.
Police are appealing for witnesses and are seeking any surveillance or dashcam footage that might assist in the investigation.
