    Man was arrested early this morning after a women was stabbed near Mount Pleasant & Eglington Aves. 53 division is investigating the incident.

    A woman was sent to hospital this morning after being stabbed at a City of Toronto shelter.

    The incident occurred shortly before 3 a.m. at the former Roehampton Hotel near Mount Pleasant and Eglinton Ave.

    Her injuries were non-life threatening. A man was arrested a short time later and taken out of the building in handcuffs.

    The former hotel is being used as a temporary shelter that provides additional space for physical distancing.
