An 84-year-old man died in hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Etobicoke.
Toronto Police say the incident happened around 5 p.m. on Friday at the Queensway and Islington Avenue intersection.
It’s alleged the man was using a sidewalk to cross the street at a gas station when the driver of a 2013 Kia hit him.
The man was rushed to the hospital, where he later died.
The driver, a 31-year-old woman, was physically unharmed but in a state of shock, requiring treatment, police said.
Police are asking locals, businesses and drivers who may have security or dash-cam footage of the area or incident to contact investigators.
